  We came for the beach, pool and lunch. The food was decent but the atmosphere made it amazing.

  I wish I could give -100 star. Reception was horrible . The guy server was not friendly. Table on which we sat was dirty and he didn't bother cleaning even when we told him.

  Writing as a day-tripper, Pure Plage is a nice easy day out with the kids, for a reasonable price. The beach is sheltered by rocks and the waves and undertow are quite gentle for West Africa, particularly at low tide. The pool is also well maintained and spacious. The food from the restaurant is pretty good and well presented. The staff are attentive. The facilities are clean. I believe both the beach and pool are watched by lifeguards. It's a really nice spot, just half an hour out of town! Basically, you can spend the day here for the price of a tasty lunch for the family (or a nominal parking fee). It does get crowded on the weekend, but you're likely to see a familiar face or two, so no complaints.

  I stayed here two nights and it was great. The people are friendly and the food was great. The service is excellent. If you're an American and you haven't had any local food, try the Djenkome Chicken. You'll love it!

  I have been really desapointed by the manager in charge. She has been very rude, coming to are table a cigared in the mouth accusing us of drinking our own water brought in from outside while we were picking up waste found on the ocean. It's a real shame because the staff are very helpful and the place is charming. But this lack of civic-mindedness, false accusations, and bitterness made us for a very unpleasant time.
